The infamous blackhawk rifle-shotgun rest.

That one has always puzzled me on many levels. Carrying a rifle and shotgun... Having a shotgun with a sde saddle (attached to shotgun) for extra ammo and then a slung rifle is one thing (i.e. entry man into a building)... but why the need to... who knows.

Anyway, the Standard Omega one blackvest is a great vest... That site lists them at 109.. a little steep, it's an older model and should be cheaper. I haven't priced them in 5 years, and at that time they were about 100 bucks... and still made with top quality... today you get the same warrenty, difference is, you'll need it now.

I was impressed by how many esoteric models there are. Pretty much get exactly your desired configuration as a stock item. What a country!

I picked up this one from Centerfire systems for $80, but it also included a drop leg holster and a drop leg rifle mag pouch.

It holds eight full sized 30 rnd AK mags (fourteen if I wear the drop leg mag pouch). Twelve pistol mags - fourteen if I wear the drop leg holster (and two pistols obviously). Plus my camel back is already attached to it now. PLUS the upper left pouch holds several other items I consider necessary.

Mine is this particular vest in DIGITAL desert tan. Fully loaded, it weighs a bundle, but I have worn it around the house several times for a few hours at a time. I wouldn't want to 'run' a mile in it, but I'm 53, so I have to be sneaky instead of strong.
